The smart lock offers auto-locking and unlocking capabilities. As you arrive home, the Auto-Unlocks feature automatically unlocks the door, eliminating the need for any physical interaction. This feature is especially useful when your hands are occupied with children or groceries. Additionally, with Auto-Lock and DoorSense, your door will automatically secure itself once it is closed or after a predetermined time (optional feature).

If you're concerned about installation, worry not. The August smart lock can be easily installed on any door, even if you lack handyman skills. The process typically takes just around 10 minutes and perfectly fits most single cylinder deadbolts.
